The Chaudhry support committee invites you come to the Federal Court Hearing for the Chaudhry’s Judicial Review of the negative decision on their Humanitarian and Compassionate application. On Wednesday, February 16th, at 9:30am, we will show the court that the Chaudhrys are supported by many local communities to stay in Canada and not be deported to Pakistan.
The audience will not be asked to speak or address the court. The Chaudhry’s lawyers and the immigration lawyers will address the judge. The judge may make a decision on this day.
Audience members can arrive late, and can also leave early if needed. While in the court room, please be silent and attentive to the court case. Your mere presence will be a great support.
The Court Room is Number 501, on the 5th floor of the ‘Law Courts’, 1859 Upper Water Street. It holds 90 to 100 people. If the room is full, people are welcome to wait outside. When room becomes available, they can come in. If you have any questions, contact Jane Kirby at 494-6662.
